Mechanical Fitters Wanted for Laverton North!

• Located in Laverton North., VIC.
• Day Shift Available.
• Monday to Friday.

Our client supplies self bunded diesel tanks, AdBlue storage systems, fuel management solutions, transfer pumps and complete workshop fitouts to businesses across Australia.

Successful applicants will be qualified in Cert 3 mechanical engineering - mechanical trade, and must be available Monday to Friday.

About your new role / Key Responsibilities:

• Pay rate of $55.12hr including casual loading.
• Assembly, installation and maintaining/repairing machinery and equipment.
• This role can be an allrounder from electrical, mechanical and welding.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Align and fit components to specifications.
• Identify equipment failures using testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and workshop equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be qualified in Cert 3 Mechanical Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Australia).
• Electrical license (not essential but highly desirable).
• Strong problem solving skills, creative thinking.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be reliable and available to commit to Monday - Friday.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Punctual and reliable.
